Donna - This is the 14th year of operation for Sandy land acres haunted hayride and farmers revenge haunted house in Petersburg Kentucky. The owner Gene Webb, has built this family oriented haunt from the ground up pretty much with his own two hands and the help of some friends and family. The hayride begins in a dark cornfield with ominous looking buildings and abandoned cars and buses along the way. You never know who will get on the hayride with you or jump at you from behind hidden places along the way. Gene keeps with the horror movie theme along the way and you see several horror movie icons appear out of the dark and board the hayride to threaten you from up close.
Farmers revenge is an indoor haunt that is fun and creepy to go through. It is changed up every year and leaves you with a creepy feeling that someone is following you in the dark.
Sandyland acres is one of our all-time favorite haunts and I highly recommend it for a fun family Halloween experience that’s not too gory but just the right amount of scare and fun for the whole family!

Katie - Sandyland Acres is always a great Halloween hayride. It has enough scare to make it worthwhile but perfect still for kids as young as 9. Great special effects and just overall well done. There is a reason why lines are long year after year.
